Alex and Matt are now serving in Lourdes, France, and Father Mark Searles, Director, College Propaedeutic Year, was able to meet with them while leading a group of FOCUS university students on a pilgrimage.

In this photo, Alex (left) and Matt (right) have reached Mansilla de Las Mulas and are outside the church of Santa Maria, where they went to evening Mass yesterday. Both note that the walking is getting easier as they now seem in pilgrimage shape.

On Saturday, Alex and Matt reached Carrion de los Condes. They are shown in front of the Church of Santa Maria del Camino. They stayed in this town for the night, rallying themselves for a grueling 26.8 km walk on Sunday - almost 17 miles - through the open country.

This photo is taken in front of the Church of St. Martin of Tours in Fromista, Spain - consecrated in 1066 AD. Alex and Matt walked nearly 25 km - or about 16 miles - and noted it was an arduous journey.
