“It kind of caused a traffic jam ... I took a sign from my shop and put 'free potatoes' on it, and before I even walked away from it, people were stopping. People were coming with pickup trucks and said they were going to get them to people in need.

It was Zachary's night, the Broncos downing Destrehan in the Class 5A semifinals. It ended a season that saw DHS lift the spirits of a community recovering from Ida - and overcoming its own obstables from it to do so.
