Third grade students in Mrs. Guerre’s science class worked in teams to create models of the Solar System to scale by attaching the planets and Sun to a meter stick. Great team effort for a challenging and fun science lesson!

Our 7th grade students shared their Luminous Mysteries storybooks with our kindergarteners last week.

The deadline to submit the Reading Logs is Tuesday, February 27th by the end of the school day. Reading logs and donations are submitted online only through the school website.

Congratulations to our Girls Basketball team for their second round playoff game victory on Thursday night! They now play in the Championship Game at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 24th at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.

Yesterday, our students celebrated Book Fair Week by dressing up as their favorite book characters. We had so many creative characters roaming the halls of St. Cecilia!

Reminder - tomorrow, Friday, February 23rd is the last day for our annual Book Fair! While no classes are scheduled to go to Book Fair tomorrow, students and parents can still go to Book Fair to continue to shop and support our Library.

Congratulations to our Boys Basketball team for winning their first round playoff game last night! Both our Boys and Girls Basketball teams now play second round playoff games tonight - Thursday, February 22nd.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our 8th Grade students at our 8th Grade Boys and Girls home Basketball games this week!

We had our annual Mardi Gras "Kindergarten Book Mambo Parade" today. The students made floats to represent their favorite books and paraded through the school to show off their hard work.

On Friday our 1st Graders decorated and packed over 60 lunch bags for their "GO" (Giving Of Ourselves) Project. The lunches will be distributed to children in the Houston-area by the Kids Meals organization.

Reminder that the Re-Enrollment deadline for currently enrolled students is today, Monday, February 12th at 3:00PM.

Join us Monday and Tuesday as we celebrate the 8th Grade students on our Basketball teams. Both games are in the Gym at St. Cecilia and start at 6:30PM.

Mrs. Guerre's Third grade Science class has been busy. They learned about soil formation with students making edible layers of soil, and then took advantage of some nice weather and had class outside.

Last week our PK4 and Kindergarten classes celebrated their 100th Day of School for this year!
