Our Year 12 Psychology students recently stepped into the shadowy splendour of Highgate Cemetery - one of London’s most iconic and atmospheric sites - to explore themes of death, symbolism and legacy. A spine-tingling but deeply enriching experience - all right on our doorstep.

At St Aloysius’ College, we’re fortunate to have our very own woodland right here on the school grounds. Together with our friends from Growing Green and Forest Club leader Gareth, we’ve transformed this beautiful natural space into two brand-new outdoor classrooms. 1/2 🧵

Year 12 News: It was a real pleasure to welcome back former student Jack, who gave an engaging insight into university life at Sheffield, where he’s just completed his second year. Jack shared tips, reflections, and encouragement with our current sixth formers. 1/2 🧵

Fun fact: a stork’s nest can weigh up to one ton! Next up, students took part in a sweep netting survey in the meadows, identifying all kinds of fascinating invertebrates living in the long grasses — from beetles and bugs to spiders, grasshoppers and crickets! 4/4.

Wildlife, Wonder & White Storks: this week, a group of our students had the opportunity to visit the extraordinary Knepp Farm in West Sussex - one of the most pioneering rewilding projects in the UK. The trip was beautifully organised by Growing Green and we were joined by. 1/4

Sports Day: an unrivalled highlight of the Aloysius’ calendar. From sprint finishes to cricket catches, it was a fab day of sunshine, community spirit & fun. A special shout-out goes to the iconic staff tug-of-war – a fierce but friendly showdown packed with muscle & laughter.

This not-for-profit organisation uses the power of sport to help young Londoners unlock their potential. From elite football training to wider healthy lifestyle programmes, Pro Touch SA runs activities for 4–25 year-olds across more than 10 boroughs 2/2.
