I had a great first meeting with my new ‘Mentee’ today, through the @districtcouncil development programme. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is (hopefully) being helpful to the future of local government stars! 🌟

Great to catch up (as always) @NatJode and hear about the amazing work being done through our partnership in #breckland
Essential reading for local gov. Thankfully, I’ve spent the morning discussing cultural placemaking & creative health with officers @BreckCouncil who really understand & value the role of cultural in their district and who contribute time & money to maintain this important offer!

I’m so proud of this award. To be recognised as making an ‘outstanding contribution’ to the mental health of residents by @NorfolkMind is amazing. But none of this happens without the 300+ volunteer’s who gave up their time to be trained up as Community Champions. Thank you 👏
Following #WorldMentalHealthDay on Tuesday, Breckland Council is incredibly proud to announce that we have been recognised for our 'Outstanding Contribution to Norfolk & Waveney Mind'. Thank you Norfolk & Waveney Mind for your partnership as we build a more mindful Breckland.
