The last few months have been crazy. Was trying to raise money for a few acquisitions but didn’t like the pace of the fundraise. So I scrapped it and decided to finance the whole thing myself. Locked in, hit the markets, and made 3× what I was aiming for in just five months.

From my experience, you’re often better off just parking your money in the S&P and leaving it alone. Over the mid-long term, it always goes up. Always. NGN investments IMO are for quick plays. Bar GTB, I haven’t held a Nigerian stock for more than 6-9 months.
I am a very modest person. I want to retire with N1B. Invest the money with 20% interest, which is N200M yearly. Translates to N16M monthly. I will live off N6M monthly and reinvest N10M every month. This is a 10-year plan.
