Working on the new tarp style lightweight tent. I want freestanding rather than a "pup tent" style. Thoughts on freestanding vs. guyed out?

I am not getting much help from the RF welding companies. Decided to go ghetto and prototype with 6mil poly tubing and a heat sealer.

Urethane coated nylon samples came in Monday. The air-beam tents are one step closer to being prototyped.
