Once, after finishing a show, the head of the security team at the venue told me that one of his guards confessed that during our set he actually prayed that we would stop playing. Sign of the cross and everything. Cool guy, said the music reminded him of Rhys Chatham. Respect!

Los Angeles’s Sprain have unveiled the second single off of their debut LP.
Titled “Constant Hum,” the 10-minute-long track traverses a soundscape from subdued to expansive, tense to tranquil, while remaining completely cathartic.
