If i had to summarize. The original Gundam isn't about how war is bad nor is it entirely about mutual understanding. It's about a boy opening his heart up to the world, its beauty and ugliness, and learning empathy to bring it into a war caused by the lack of it

Altered States is one of those films that I now firmly believe to be a 'must-see'. Film is foremost a visual medium, and this motion picture is tidally psychedelic, at times drowning the audience and then restoring them to stark reality. It's also deeply hilarious and sincere.
