The pale sun tried to brighten the gloomy landscape. The forecast promises snow over the weekend. โ๏ธ Traditional Finnish dishes are very moderately flavored, mostly just salt and pepper. I had tasty lunch at a local Nepalese restaurant: chicken stew in spicy, rich, garlic sauce.

-7หC at 10pm, coldest night so far; tomorrow it's time to put on winter tires. โ๏ธ๐๐๐๐ The Mexican F1 race is underway and we enjoy our take away pizza: pepperoni, red onion, paprika, asparagus and fresh rucola on top! I love the thin, crispy crust and spicy pepperoni! ๐

1หC today! No snow yet, but the lawn looked frozen and white this morning. โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ For hubby's gluten-free breakfast: persimmon, cheeses, fig, avocado, carrot, radish, bell pepper, grapes, baby spinach, cucumber, pomegranate and chili.

I need to fill the bird feeders. My garden is quieter now that the migratory birds have left us for the winter. For hubbyโs gluten-free breakfast: tangerine, olives, persimmon, mushroom salad, bell pepper, kiwi fruit, smoked rainbow trout, cucumber, figs, baby spinach, cabbage.

+1C today; such a sunny autumnal weather! ๐๐๐ Hubby and I had our buffet lunch at a restaurant that serves Finnish home food. There was beef in brown gravy, pan fried potatoes, vegetable/venison soup and rhubarb/strawberry kizel with whipped cream for dessert.
