In 1998 when 1st dx’d with Stage 4 Breast Cancer, support group members were uncomfortable for me to be around in groups. Since then I’ve been active as an MBC advocate. Now that I’m in hospice & need support, backs are turned & some-or all-want me to go away. #bcsm

This is the third holiday season where i spent most of my time traveling from home to the Radiation Oncology center for treatment. At least this year I feel like I didn’t miss any family gatherings because there weren’t any.

So today, my husband tripped and fell over a curb just outside the Radiation building while I was inside. It’s the exact spot another person fell last Thursday. Maybe a design change is in order? Or maybe my husband is just getting out of washing dishes tonight.

Radiologists - Why are treatment tables so hard and uncomfortable? With a fractured spine from cancer and going through stereotactic radiosurgery for an hour (the computer needed a reboot) my blood pressure must have gone through the roof in pain. There has to be a better way
