I’m very excited to share that I’ve accepted the position of Pitching Coach at Southern Virginia University! I’m incredibly grateful to my wife, Emily, for her constant support through everything, and to Coach Cox and Southern Virginia for this amazing opportunity.

The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have hired Alon Leichman as the club's Major League pitching coach, Gabe Ribas as the assistant pitching coach, Matt Buschmann as the bullpen coach and Matt Daniels as the organization's director of pitching.

Alon is a plus-plus human and an even better coach. Great get. A few other #Rockies hires into big roles should trickle out here shortly. I’m encouraged they’re starting to show signs of caring about development. Dare I say… the Rockies are back? 👀
