Today, Stamford School opened its doors to teach students co-educationally at all stages. Years 12 & 13 are now based at Stamford Sixth Form at St Martinβs, with Year 11 students remaining in single-sex classes. From September 2024, Stamford School will be fully co-educational.

Over the past 2 days, students from both Schools have been mixing across our sites, preparing for our transition to co-educational learning from September 2023. Transition day involved meeting new tutor groups & playing house sports, with the week finishing with a sponsored walk.

Last Friday, our Junior School pupils celebrated all things Japanese with a fun-packed themed day which every year group enjoyed. The day was filled with good vibes, music, and fun activities while learning about Japanese culture.

On Saturday, over 80 individual students took part in the annual Stamford School Music Festival. The day comprised performance classes which were adjudicated by visiting musician Lisa Nelsen. The day focused on celebrating achievement, feedback & the experience of performing.

On Friday evening, we celebrated Stamford High School's achievements with awards ranging from Latin to Biology, handmade artistic trophies being awarded for fine art pieces and many more. OS Lizzie Winfrey made a speech about her time at Stamford and handed out the awards.

Persistent Stamford Spirit cleared the summer showers from the skies yesterday as our Year 7 boys went on their annual history trip to Lincoln Castle π°π³ The students explored the dungeons and prisons, Lincoln Cathedral and the Museum of Lincolnshire Life.

On Saturday, Stamford School welcomed parents, pupils and Old Stamfordians to their annual speech day celebrations. OS17 George Robinson was the guest speaker, inspiring the audience with a motivational speech noting the difference between opportunity and change.
