5️⃣ Texture flattening. Models produce “denoised” outputs, which often lose their natural grain. E.g. every surface looks plastic, which requires users to re-introduce texture in post-edits.
@baileylikemovie Because AI image generation is basically born out of denoising algorithms, it's unavoidable unless the sampling method can somehow add noise back in for texture.

Sometimes AI-generated images have blurred lines or pixelation around objects. This is because AI can struggle with defining clear boundaries, especially when blending objects together. 🖌️.

2️⃣ Style and object continuity. Moving the same prompt from Model A to B or even generating additional images within the same model often shifts character proportions enough to break continuity.
Each AI image model has its strengths, but migrating projects between platforms often results in composition inconsistencies, particularly with characters. Different models interpret prompts and references in unique ways, though this limitation is gradually disappearing.

A new serious issue "AI Engorgement" - the phenomenon where an AI model absorbs so much misinformation that it corrupts the model's base truth, leading to strange glitches. One user had several prompts for "Realistic Demon" turned out as these instead.
