I have an opinion....Like it or lump it, it's still just an opinion
Scotland, United Kingdom
Joined March 2018
All I see from the SNP recently is that in an Independent Scotland they will throw buckets of money at everyone and everything. They must think we came down with the last shower of rain.

BREXIT IS OVER. 52% would vote Remain. Only 29% would vote Leave. 49% want a rejoin referendum. The public has moved on. But the government hasn’t. Brexit lost the people. The mandate has flipped. And now, the public wants a say on Europe, on rights, on who we are. The myth

I don't think politicians get it. Almost every day one of the ministers stands up and make a public speech. Ramming politics down our throats is turning people off. No wonder turnout is so low. I for one am sick of it.

Why are Labour just signing deals with no debate or scrutiny in the House of Commons?

@Keir_Starmer Change for the worse under Labour. Bills up. Taxes up. Inflation up. Two-tier justice. Unemployment up. Economic growth down. Illegal migrant numbers up. Businesses closing at a record rate.

Labour just hit it's core voters. The poor or those on benefits or low wages are normally socialists and Labour voters.

Maybe instead of Reform, we need a proper Left wing party. Labour is not working, they're attacking the core value of left wing politics by attacking pensioners, farmers, now the disabled. On top of this reforming the NHS costing thousands of jobs. Why are the unions backing them

The appointment of Lord Mandelson as US ambassador, is Labours way of taking us back into the EU. Mandelson will not negotiate with Trump and more than likely will muddy the waters further. Labour will then say, joining the EU is the only answer. @GBNEWS

What Labour need to understand is one simple fact. Low paid workers, with no savings are ex union members. people who have voted and supported Labour. Now to cut fuel allowances is just inhumane. Cut foreign aid and look after our own.

Not one single economist can give us a credible economic plan for independence. I would say it's that one issue that stands in the way. Nothing else.

Social media ripped into the Tories about deaths over covid. 250k died. Labour taking away the winter fuel allowance to 10m pensioners, 2m whom are just above the threshold. If over the next few years a large proportion die of hypothermia, will the public remember?

412 MP's and Starmer has to bring in unelected people into his cabinet. If I was young, ambitious and a new Labour MP, I would feel insulted. @GBNEWS

What will be a success for Labour? Winning the GE, or winning with a small majority, or winning with a 100 seat majority, or winning with a mega majority?

Video, just over 1 min long. You see the end of the march and the cameraman turns around. To try to sell this as 1500 is embarrassing.

If you vote SNP at the next General election, and you think they can win you a referendum, or independence in any other way, then you're deluded. They've tried everything and failed. They're out of ideas and out of time.

I have an honest question. Do we have a website in #Scotland where you can type in your postcode & be told the most effective way to cast your 2 votes in an election to insure independence? I am an engineer & will build one if the team thinks it useful. #ScottishIndependence2024

What nationalists don't understand. Polling question. Q1. Do you think Scotland could be an independent country. Answer yes. Any country could be independent. Q2. Is their an economic case for independence. A. No. Q2 beats Q1. End of.
