I still can’t believe that Apple sent me the new Vision Pro with the M5 early to test and review. I’ve been testing it non-stop for almost a week now — and this is my full review, in my best bad German accent. Spoiler: It‘s a much bigger upgrade than you might think.

If you have a Vision Pro I highly recommend watching the new Apple TV Show "Pluribus" in cinema mode – it’s 21:9, which makes for a very immersive experience in front row. I set my expectations extremely high since it’s from the genius behind Breaking Bad, Vince Gilligan. Yet

The way visionOS’s frosted glass adapts an app’s interface to the lighting in your environment never gets old to me. It always feels like it truly belongs there. I can’t imagine a spatial operating system without it.

App "Spatial Earth":

Can’t wait for Apple Maps to become spatial. This App already gives a great glimpse of how I’d love the interface to look. Instead of being fully immersive, I’d love a “miniature wonderland” view — a way to explore places and plan vacations while still seeing my surroundings.

One year later, Pulsargeist is still my favorite horror game on Apple Vision Pro 🎃 It scans your apartment and turns it into the game’s map, where you have to catch evil spirits before they catch you. For me, it’s already become the perfect Halloween tradition.

Playing around with Vision Pro outside makes me even more excited for the future of AR. For example, with the App "Seasons", you can simulate different weather conditions around you and augment how your real environment feels. Maybe not groundbreaking, but incredibly fun.

Today I used my Vision Pro for my morning fitness routine and saw the future of home workouts. Before the Dual Knit Band, I never really considered this an option. But since Apple Vision Pro has become so much more comfortable, I decided to give it a try and test out FunFitLand.

So, let’s talk about the new Logitech MUSE — the first spatial drawing accessory for Vision Pro. I have mixed feelings about it. First of all, if you buy one today (you can, for $129.99), you’ll probably be a bit disappointed, as there aren’t many apps that support the pen yet.
