Adveristy is external Entropy encroaching inwards. Corruption is internal Entropy encroaching outwards. A group rallies itself against Adversity. An individual cleanses itself of internal Corruption. Internal Corruption that manifests in a group rots Civilization.

Where a problem can not be solved in time by Human Social Engineering. A stop gap must be employed by Human Technology Engineering. The flaw in this process is we become reliant on technologies and stop engineering the Social Landscape. Both are necessary.
