Made it home after 2 weeks away. I've finally had time to update my pin board with all those I collected at this year's #GoogleIOConnect β€οΈπππ. Thank you so much to @googledevs and the GDE program for helping me learn so much, meet so many people and be a part of the community

After dragging my feet a little, I have finally taken my first step into learning about AI. I have built a very rudimentary MCP service to connect to @LimitlessTCG and serve insights into recent PokΓ©mon online tournaments!. Really enjoying learning this new tech β¨

Veo is impressive. It turned me into a dragon in a matter of seconds ππ A very cool demo, but perhaps not the best example of it's full capability #BuildWithGemini #GoogleIOConnect

I so love the creativity the mobile community brings to interactions like this. Who is brave enough to bring this to Compose world π.
So excited to share one of my white-whale projects: a fully physics-based, holographic foil shader. Each pixel simulates a ray of light diffracting into a rainbow of waves, which add and subtract to create these incredible patterns. Not a single gradient was used here!

To clarify my position here, having good test coverage is important but not the sole metric to be used to determine how well tested your codebase is. For example, I'd always prefer well written and clear tests at 75% coverage over say 90% coverage and tests that are crappy. π
