Year 4 had a fantastic trip to Brighton last week. Dickens class thoroughly enjoyed visiting the library, getting to handle some artefacts from the Stone Age at Brighton Museum, and a delicious ice cream on the beach. What a great trip!

Some of our Year 5 children enjoyed the challenges of an immersive writing experience at The Burgess Hill Academy this week. The worked hard, alongside pupils from London Meed, to discover the metaphors and hidden meanings in a poem all about stinging nettles!

Einstein Class enjoyed a wild day out at the Seven Sisters. The children observed the features of the river and the coast line. Luckily, the tide was out and the children even found some crabs near the rockpools. Despite the wind and the rain, the children had a fabulous day!!

Reverend Will from Burgess Hill Methodist Church led a very inspirational assembly today to the children explaining that whilst words matter, actions matter more

Year 5 and 6 girls were treated to a wonderful Football Festival at Ardingly College, where they got to try out some new skills and drills and played some mini games with other schools. The girls were fantastic, with lots of goals being scored and new techniques being acquired.
