This is concerning. ‼️.The proportion of trainees at high risk of burnout has doubled since 2019. Many are leaving the NHS to protect their wellbeing, compounding the pressure. This is dangerous for individual Drs and patients. We need to recruit & retain! #payrestoration

20 years today. We still remember the day very clearly. Our thoughts are with all those impacted that day.
Today marks 20 years since the 7/7 bombings struck London. On that day, 52 people were killed, with many more injured. We remember all those who lost their lives and were – and continue to be – impacted by the events of that day.

We now know that only 1,000 new specialty training posts are promised over the next 3 years in the plan. That's nowhere near enough to tackle underemployment at its current level.

An interesting mention of SAS doctors. Not sure how to read this. Welcome the improvements to the portfolio pathway but what is lacking is recognition of those SDs working at specialist level.
