This week, I toured Achieve of Central Virginia in Lynchburg. They assist individuals with disabilities & disadvantages achieve greater independence, vocational training, & employment services. We discussed the AbilityOne Program. Thanks for the tour!

Recently, the National Council on Disability issued a progress report calling for the phase out of the AbilityOne Program. The report continues to focus on old data regarding the Program, and we have issued a statement to help set the record straight:

As a member of @ccd4pwd, SourceAmerica – along with more than 50 disability organizations – sent a letter in December to the Census Bureau expressing concern with the proposed changes. We look forward to further engaging with the Census Bureau on this topic in the spring.
