Like in any other scenario this would be insane. Trails is just one long story. It’s okay if you don’t like that!! In any other story it would be egregious though. “Just skip to disc 2 of FF7” “yeah skip Infinity War and jump to Endgame” like do you hear yourselves???.

No other series gets this but Kingdom Hearts. Cause they’re the only long running stories in gaming. And I get that’s unusual but IT’S OKAY IF THAT ISN’T FOR YOU!!! But these are very much like this for a reason - cause they are amazing IF you’re willing to put that time in!.

I just CANNOT understand the mindset of playing a series just to hit certain things like a checklist. Why even do this. Why play these games. Why go through with the mindset of “I just wanna get to this specific part”. Just go do something else.
