He talked to Jay-Z about us and even tried to sign us to Roc Nation. I don’t know anyone else in this industry who would do that. Jay and Abdul kicked it at the Grammys the year he was nominated for Best Rap Album. just a real genuine and humble human being. A true legend.

We’ve been working on beats for Jay Electronica since 2009 with our brother Mike Chav. Almost a decade later we asked him for a feature and he came through! Jay E has always shown love and inspired us in so many ways. He even gave us our name The Base.
