what pisses me off is that I'm usually paranoid about this stuff. I don't click random links, don't fall for obvious scams, only use legit extensions, keep everything updated. but importing that one seed phrase today somehow triggered this whole mess 8 hours later.

and I mean EVERYTHING.not just the backpack wallet I imported today. every wallet I've ever imported on this macbook:. all my ethereum wallets.base wallets.solana wallets.across different browser extensions. how is that even possible?.

push notifications everywhere: ."you sent X USDC" "transaction confirmed" "funds transferred". I'm like wtf? I didn't send anything. rushed to my laptop and my stomach just dropped. everything was gone.

here's the timeline:. today afternoon around 2pm - imported a seed phrase into backpack extension (had 1500 USDC) sent 250 USDC to pay someone, transaction went through fine went about my day normally. then around 10pm my phone starts buzzing like crazy.
