Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Bea Lago from @mbg_csic for a short stay as part of the @CSIC tech personal mobility grants 🌎 We exchanged knowledge about our research lines, and she had the chance to explore techniques for studying soil biodiversity ⛏️🪲

In late January, our PhD student Nira Vega had a short stay at @INIA_es, diving into soil nematodes! 🌱🪱 She explored their role in soil health and is now sharing her new knowledge with our team 📈 This stay is part of the #SoilNet research network, funded by @AgEInves 🌐

Gioele is pursuing his PhD on the impact of fire on arthropods under the supervision of Alena Sucháčková and Lukáš Čížek (@BiologyCentre, Institute of Entomology; Czech Republic) and Carmelo Andújar here at @IPNA_CSIC @SoilEvoEcoLab 🪲🔬

By the end of 2024, we completed two more regions for the #EdAFoBio project (funded by @AgEInves)! 🌍🌱 Over the course of a month, we conducted a soil sampling campaign in Chile, covering both a temperate and a Mediterranean forest! 🐜

This week, we had the pleasure of hosting Paula Lillo from @INIA_es and Rubén Olmo-Gilabert from @CREAF_ecologia at the @IPNA_CSIC🌱🔬 Paula and Rubén shared their work and explored molecular pipelines and soil sampling techniques for studying soil biodiversity. 🧬🕷️
