Reflecting on my time in Bristol as it draws to a close. I’ve had some amazing opportunities here, including a few exclusives and a feature on the BBC website, but I’m looking forward to moving back to familiar territory (the North) for a whole new patch to sink my teeth into!

The reliability of trains, this week in December, is a yearly disappointment - but they feel especially bad this year? Cancellations mainly seem to be due to a lack of train crew which just suggests an absence of planning for sickness etc. People have to travel this week too!
