More reinforcements! . The @LAFD’s contracted seasonal Helitanker 749 “Olga” has arrived for fire season 2024! This aircraft will be stationed out of Van Nuys and is capable of dropping more than 2,500 gallons of water in a single drop!

The Quick Reaction Force is assigned to the #BorelFire tonight to provide structure protection for the communities of Bodfish and Havilah.

Tanker 73 and 100 loading up for final drops on the #WalkerFire in Riverside County. Forward progress has been stopped at 64 acres.

Helicopter 554 and crew looking out at the #TroutFire as it continues to burn on Sequoia National Forest. The fire is currently 22,231+ acres & 20% contained.
