A bitmap is simply a text inscription, and uncommon is an immutable temporal position permanently recorded in the Bitcoin timeline. Label it however you like; it always comes first. π

I totally agree with you, the .btc .bitmap .eth endings are the .com bubbles repeating themselves, although that doesn't mean that money can't be made with them (note: I also have bitmaps, but for obvious reasons, I prefer uncommons).
Loaded regretfully, muted all bitmap keywords. Great idea, awful culture, misleading implementation (has nothing to do with the actual block except offchain image). Hope my uncommon sats can balance it out.

A couple of months ago you could buy an uncommon alpha for $10; today, a non-alpha uncommon is worth $53. If you hold on to it long enough, in a few months it could be worth what a 2010 uncommon is worth today, and in a few years, even more than a 2009 uncommon. Sure π
