Actually I spoke with some Senate staff about the issue with AI moderation being used on social media. I think it’s time to we write some proper protections for both users and content creators. I’ll continue to work on progressing this conversation throughout Congress.

For those interested, YouTube also does racket behind the scenes, literally stealing channels with «cool» URLs/handles from creators. They don't reach out to purchase the account; they just steal your channel without notice and transfer it to companies who «pay well».

There are TONS of scam ads on YouTube. While AI moderation is banning TONS of genuine creators for “scam” YouTube, how is that possible?
@mferrini Thanks for raising your concerns. We’re closely monitoring ads on our platform and removing any that violate guidelines. However, in some cases, we might not be able to identify and remove every instance of a violative ad. If you run into an inappropriate ad, it helps us address

YouTube should listen to REAL creators in the first place. Paying attention to big channels and brands is NEVER the same as 'listening to creators' voices YouTube is so much more than a dozen channels with hundreds of millions of subscribers. It’s a GIANT community of different
