After an enforced delay we are at last starting our Heritage Lottery Funded project. Smethwick's Home Front focuses on the years from 1939 to 1942 when Smethwick was under fire. We are installing a brand new Anderson shelter in our courtyard, which should be ready by August.

We are moving steadily towards reopening @SmethwickMuseum once restrictions allow. It will be great to be back, but we will only open once we have completed the necessary maintenance works. It’s been too long !!
