Covid claimed another life today, my dad Syl senior - a proud
@RathnureGAA
man - he loved his family and we all loved him ♥️♥️ we’ll miss him dearly
All-Ireland champions Kerry will have played 6 championship matches this season - only one live on RTE - four on GAAGO - and one not shown at all - it beggars belief
Does anyone else think that having the hurling final one Sunday followed by the football final the following week takes away from the two most important games in the GAA calendar? It just doesn’t seem right to me
Sean O’Shea scored 0-10 tonight - that’s a total of 3-118 in 19 championship apps and maintains his remarkable scoring average of 6.7 pts per championship game - the best championship average of any Kerry forward in history
It’s great to see Damian Lawlor given a more prominent role in RTE’s GAA coverage - Damian is a proper GAA man with a vast knowledge of the game and a superb broadcaster 👍
It’s very difficult to get excited about a football game today - my heart goes out the Clifford’s this morning - football is important but family is the most important thing of all - RIP Ellen 💚💛
It would be a fitting tribute if the Killarney council decide to name the roundabout at Dalton’s Avenue outside Fitzgerald Stadium after the late great Weeshie Fogarty- his name would be forever linked to his favourite sporting amphitheater- fantastic idea 👏👏👏👏
Thinking of my great friend the late great Weeshie Fogarty today - he would have loved watching Peter Keane’s first game in charge of Kerry - Fitzgerald Stadium was Weeshie’s playground - he may have passed but he will never be forgotten by those of us who knew and miss him
In the night that’s in it I think it is right to acknowledge the contribution that these four men have made to Kerry football and wish them all the best in their future 👏👏👏
Kerry’s management and players deserve so much credit for that display - they will learn so much from that - not bad for a group of young fellas against the so called greatest team of all time 😉
No room at the Inn! Today's AIB Munster Club Junior Football Semi-Final - Fossa (Kerry) v Castlemahon (Limerick) in Quaid Park Coolyroe has reached its capacity of 1,500 and is now sold out. - the Clifford factor strikes again
David Clifford’s Annus Mirabilis continues as he kicks 2-12 to inspire Fossa to a Junior Prem final win - what a year, what a player - just simply the best!
I have to say since I posted this I have been shocked by ignorance that exists in this country in relation to the lack of quality internet coverage in rural Ireland and also the inability of many older GAA supporters to access GAAGO it’s not about money it’s about access
All-Ireland champions Kerry will have played 6 championship matches this season - only one live on RTE - four on GAAGO - and one not shown at all - it beggars belief
This attacking double act will both make their 30th league appearance tomorrow in Omagh - David Clifford has scored 13-117 & Sean O’Shea 4-136 - both are still just 24 years of age
A fifth All Star for David Clifford at the age of 24 - the
@FossaGaa
star is the youngest player in the history of the game to achieve that milestone

Paul Geaney hand in hand with his son Pàidí (grandson of the late great Pàidí O Sè) - Don’t worry we’ll be back 👍👍👍
I was just thinking back to the 2016 All Ireland minor Kerry winning team - what a group to be involved with - David Clifford Seanie O’Shea Diarmuid O’Connor Dara Moynihan Graham O’Sullivan and Mike Breen - as fine a crop of minors as we ever produced
The last remaining playing link to Kerrys 2006 & 2007 All-Ireland winning teams has retired - best of luck to Killian Young in his future - he can look back with great pride on a stellar 14 year career - the last man to captain Kerry to All-Ireland success at u-21 level 👏👏👏👍
This evening is all about this great Dublin team 👏👏👏 - but I am so excited to see what this group of young Kerry footballers can achieve - they did every one of us proud
Sensational and gutsy win by the Kerry Ladies in Parnell Park! They were up against all types of adversity (best not to say more than that) - great heart shown to eke out a two point win - congrats to all involved
A bit of perspective- 4 of the 2016 Kerry Minor All Ireland winning forward line started today - one 19 year old and three 20 year olds - it’s been a great league from a Kerry point of view and the future is bright - all we need is a little patience
#KERRYvMAYO
David Moran finished his career in style with his third Celtic Cross last July & his high fielding was not surpassed in the modern game - he leaves big shoes to fill - you have earned your rest David - congrats on a wonderful inter county career
Great pic of the two Kerry men - Gavin O’Brien and Robert Wharton - who were part of
@NewYorkGAA
’s historic win over Leitrim in the Connacht championship
Maurice Fitzgerald has never changed! He’s the Dorian Gray of the GAA - for me he will always be the GOAT- great shot taken by

Pictured at last night’s Kerry All-Ireland medal banquet - All-Ireland, Allianz League, Munster Senior and McGrath Cup medals - the reward for a wonderful year for Kerry’s senior footballers
Tom O’Sullivan had 50 possessions for Kerry yesterday- Tom is as skilful as any other player on the pitch - but a corner back having 50 possessions really sums up hoe the modern game is played

Mike Quirke says that it is the wish of David and Paudie and the Clifford family that they play today - 💚💛- two very brave men - we are very lucky to have them here in the Kingdom
Absolutely delighted for this man - brilliant management again today - He’s never beaten and always learns as the game goes on 👏👏👏👏👏 - now for a lovely journey home 👍👍
It’s hard to believe it’s 3 years since my great friend Weeshie Fogarty passed away - I will never forget all those wonderful times we spent together travelling to matches and spinning yarns - he was both a mentor and a true friend- gone but never forgotten 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Paudie and David Clifford have been named joint Munster senior footballers of the year - well done to all
@MunsterGAA
for this special award on what was a really tough year for the Clifford’s
It’s not how you start but how you finish - is this new look
@Kerry_Official
team’s motto - Peter Keane continues to find a way to win - that’s 22 games now as Kerry minor and senior manager and 22 wins - some record
When they talk about great football men Billy Lee has to be at the top of that conversation - two promotions with
@LmkFootballers
is some achievement- against the odds Billy and his players have been magnificent 👏👏👏👏
Unbelievable scenes as men and women in floods of tears!

Kerry SHC champions after a 55 year wait - the famine is over! Commiserations to Lixnaw
@KilmoyleyHC
once again create history as the first Kerry hurling club who will play an All Ireland club final in Croke Park - congrats to all involved 👏👏👏👏
Congrats to the Kerry ladies senior football team who knocked out three in a row chasing all Ireland champions Meath tonight - Kerry now play Mayo in the All-Ireland semi final - now over to the lads tomorrow evening 💛💚
It was an interesting night in Austin Stack Park but Paul Geaney showed that the old adage that form is temporary but class is permanent rings true - the

man gave an exhibition of forward play tonight
We’re not down for long! This Kerry’s Eye poster will be distributed by the Kerry Ladies football clubs under the guidance of Kerry LGFA - lets all get behind our brilliant Kerry Ladies Football team ahead of the All Ireland final 💚💛💚💛
Weeshie will be smiling down on us tonight! 43 years of hurt over for

It’s official now - senior club winners
@DingleGAA
will represent Kerry in the Munster senior club football championship for the first time in their history
The bizarre thing about this year’s All-Star football selection is the placing of Brian Howard at centre back to accommodate Michael Murphy at number 12 - a position both have never played in - why not pick Stephen O’Brien at full back then 🤷♂️
David Clifford celebrates his 25th birthday today - time certainly flies when we are all having fun, watching the super footballer - Hopefully another decade of delight to come - Happy Birthday David 🎉🎉
Mighty stuff by James Costello and his backroom team and all the lads - the
@Kerry_Official
minor unbeaten run continues - I remember our last loss at this level to Tyrone in Croke Park in 2013 - nearly six years ago - the journey continues 👏👏👏
I’ve heard it said many times lately that Kerry struggle against Ulster sides - in the past decade Kerry have only lost once to an Ulster side in 9 championship meetings
We lost a great friend and colleague yesterday & we’re left with a deep sense of shock and sadness. Timmy Sheehan was loved in the Press Box & he will leave us all with a treasure trove of happy memories my sincerest condolences to Timmy’s family & all

Stephen O’Brien will make his 50th championship appearance for Kerry if he takes to the field on Sunday - the
@kenmaregaa
man was in inspirational form in the semifinal win over Derry
Devastating news about Liam Kearns’ passing - a great Kerry man and a great Stacks man - it is just shocking to hear of his death at the age of 60 - my condolences to Liam’s family and friends
Great pic from the minor winning dressing room in 2016 - 6 of that panel involved tomorrow - Seanie, David, Dara, Diarmuid, Graham & David Shaw - the Craic was mighty that day - best of luck tomorrow lads 👍👍
Reflecting on Kerry’s loss in Omagh I suspect most counties would miss - Brian O Beaglaoich Gavin White Mike Breen Diarmuid O’Connor Stephen O’Brien Paul Geaney Adrian Spillane and Barry Dan - thankfully all of the above are on the mend and will be back shortly
A third All Star for the mercurial 25 year old
@kenmaregaa
’s Seanie O’Shea - remains the player with the highest championship scoring average for Kerry in the history of the game
Fair play to the mighty Kerry supporters- you have done your county proud - all the green and gold on social media would fill you heart with pride - win lose or draw tomorrow we are already winners with this super young team to follow in the coming years
