I believe I can make a difference. I’m here to change your worldview because if you think like the masses you’re bound to get the same results.

This is great advice. Proof of work trumps a lot of things. I always get the “wow” when I mention any of my open source work Not my school not my grades. My open source work
getting a tech job and doing a tech job are completely different. i didn't know that so i worked on becoming a good swe (classes, projects, internships). it didnt get me shit. 670 apps, 4 interviews. so i started treating interviewing differently. stopped applying all

What is your system to understand complex concepts. I usually prefer action based understanding. Take a really complex idea and try to implement it in reality which will lead me down a rabbit hole of frustration. That is where the real learning takes place for me

When OpenAI says a LLM is 4 billion parameters, what do they exactly mean ? In an LLM parameters are the weights that get tuned to predict the next token better. The higher the parameters the more the ability for that model to represent the complex relationship betweeen

I know I made a joke earlier but this is seriously concerning. I am not convinced it's ai, I think it's just accelerating this trend. The enshitification has been marching forward for years now and I hate it I know the rage is all about how you should do no typing, you should

My outlook towards video games changed recently. It’s a combination of multiple fields like design, coding, music, for it to come together as a piece of art

This is an interesting way to think about writing What does it mean to actually write for an LLM ?
I’m starting to get into a habit of reading everything (blogs, articles, book chapters,…) with LLMs. Usually pass 1 is manual, then pass 2 “explain/summarize”, pass 3 Q&A. I usually end up with a better/deeper understanding than if I moved on. Growing to among top use cases. On
