The standard for maps has really exploded over the last few years. There is so much you can do, but I still keep coming back to the beauty of simple stuff. But if you like advanced things, don't worry. We still have racing, patty combat, and rollercoasters. So what do you like?

How about celebrity guests? Player: "I don't even like this redstone puzzle, who would make this?" Me: "Oh this was made by @Jigarbov, blame him" Player: "Oh really? Jig made this? I LOVE THIS PUZZLE! It's my favorite." Me: "Kids these days, bunch of Jig fans."

Is this a Minecraft map from 1.8? Nope. This is just peak game design. A wall of levers! Player: "Oh surely there is a pattern or some deeper design." Me: "Nah nah this is Minecraft 1.8." Player: "So maybe I need to match up the walls..." Me: " I SAID MINECRAFT 1.8."

So what have I been up to for the past few months? I've been the Game Lead for the @Minecraft x @SpongeBob DLC map created by @SparkUniverse. One of my goals was to re-create nostalgia with some game elements from early days of Minecraft map making. Game testing quotes below:
