This is how you get users to say yes to notifications. Frame the ask as a benefit, not a request. Simple gives the user a clear reason to opt in before showing the official iOS prompt. 15/16

Simple uses a 2-step paywall. The first screen is a "pre-paywall" that sells the subscription concept with three key promises:.We want you to be happy (guarantee). We want you to be healthy (benefit). We want you to save money (value). The second screen:.Slider with different

Just before the paywall, you see your goal on the graph again (now with an even earlier date!), and a checklist of what you'll get. The date has been adjusted again based on the final motivation answers, making the personalization feel incredibly dynamic. 13/16

Just when you think the quiz is over, there is another section focused purely on motivation and psychology. 12/16

Did you catch that? The first prediction was May 23. After the quiz, it's April 25. Simple, just rewarded the user for their time and data by showing them a better, faster outcome. It reinforces that the personalization is real and has tangible benefits.11/16

While the user is waiting for their plan to get built, the app reinforces why they should be excited. It's a sequence of promises: "It only takes 5 minutes a day," "No one is perfect," "We'll help you get back on track.". I think some of this info is so powerful that it could

After a moment of high-value feedback, Simple transitions back into a long quiz sequence. It covers user habits. To keep users hooked, it would be powerful to add small, insightful rewards after certain answers, showing the user why their answer matters. 9/16

Then they make the promise real. The app presents a clear, visual forecast showing the user they can hit their goal weight right before their vacation. It´s a motivation boost to get started.8/16

Never waste your loading screens. While "Preparing your path," Simple shows a real review from a real person. A small tip: using a very recent date on the review would make the user think the app is currently used by many, and it's still in trend.7/16

A classic, effective pattern in the wellness space. Simple asks if the user is losing weight for a specific event (Vacation, Wedding). Losing weight for a future event is a stronger motivator than a vague desire to be healthier. 6/16

Analyzing their rankings with @TryAstroApp from @matteo_spada , two things stand out:. 1 - They own their brand keywords, which have strong search volume. 2 - They rank in the top 10 for difficult, high-intent terms. 5/16

After collecting some info from a previous quiz section, Simple finally shows some value. "It takes just 3 kg to improve your health". It frames a small weight loss as a huge win for your health, making the goal manageable and impactful. 4/16

Asking for an email at the very beginning is a risky play. You risk a massive drop-off before you've even shown any value. Simple is confident that its brand and ad creatives are strong enough to overcome this initial hurdle.2/16

This app is making $2.4M/year, so I took a deeper look into their onboarding with @screensdesign_. Simple is a nutrition coach that focuses on building sustainable habits, not just counting calories. Their onboarding has 40+ steps, and here is the breakdown 🧵👇.1/16

ReFit ($75K/mo) paywall is a powerful combination of hope and urgency. - The Hope: The "Before & After" photo provides a clear, aspirational goal. It shows that change is possible. - The Urgency: The one-hour countdown timer creates immediate pressure to start the journey. 7/8
