Consuming diverse art, literature and culture is how you become well rounded. Being anti-diversity basically promotes mental, emotional and intellectual regression. Exposure to different ways of living and being can literally only help you.

one of the greatest disservices we do to ourselves is the personification of a nation state. it places responsibility onto people in ways it doesnt require of the state. it structures (and emphasizes) the people as servicing of the state and not the state to its people.

I read Prof. Mamdani's (@mm1124) most recent book #SlowPoison from front to back in all but two days. Such a gripping read! Also, a history lesson on East African politics I did not know I needed. I highly recommend!
