Strategically placed... along with.. xtra highways that the state does not need. Both of these actions drove up Real Estate price Farmers are no longer able to purchase land for farming-too expensive for farming. The failure to preserve farmland!!
The only development in Punjab which you can see on the roads are food plazas, shopping plazas and more food plazas. They are mushrooming at frightening rate all over the state. It is McD followed by KFC followed by Burger King with a Nik Bakers thrown in. Who owns these plazas?
