'It’s an important, timely & often fascinating book, which outlines the enormous breadth of the problem & makes a powerful case for taking action against the status quo.' Thanks @FriedaKlotz for this generous & thoughtful review of Sick of It & the subs for pulling Amina's story

Recently, @SimuChigudu has been on such a creative tear, writing so prolifically, that he's actually started listening to classic books on tape while writing his own book, just to slow the torrid pace He's seen here listening to "Finnegans Wake" at 1.5x speed. Just remarkable...

LOL! Writing WHEN WILL WE BE FREE has by far been the hardest thing I have ever attempted to do in my life. I recently got a big extension on it cos there's so much more work to be done. Here's hoping that it's all worth it and the book can deliver on its promise! 😣🤞🏿
There's an Africanist scholar whose capable of the most remarkable grift and never gets checked. I'm just waiting for @SimuChigudu's book WHEN WILL WE BE FREE to drop because as a continent we need a reason to hold a caucus on why Africans invite everyone to the cookout.
