Discussing your wishes on organ donation is really important - it helps your loved ones if the worst happens. This is such an inspirational, sad but courageous story

Joyous! That’s how ⁦@oasis⁩ made 70,000 people feel on Saturday night at Murrayfield. No arrests, just people being happy. Exactly 39 years after seeing Queen at Knebworth - I’ve seen two of my favourite gigs on 9/8. Thanks ⁦@liamgallagher⁩ ⁦@BoneheadsPage

I’ve travelled to the other end of the country to see these cars so it would be rude not to go 20 minutes up the road - Charles Leclerc’s old F1 car @sparNorth looked beautiful! #Ferrari #F1

Over the past 18 months I can’t fault the cancer care I’ve received - from diagnosis to treatment, operation, care on ward, chemotherapy, stoma care, stoma reversal and surveillance tests which mean I’m cancer free, thanks to every member of staff involved - I’m so very grateful

There used to be one of these at Leeds University - not sure if there still is. I got stuck once as I couldn’t get out in time and then it broke down!

I had cancer and work with words. Words have power and with power comes responsibility- please think about what you write - and if you think that you wouldn’t want to receive a message - don’t send it.

He then became a bakery owner. And then a bookshop owner. Unfailingly polite, a true gentleman - my dad died in 2013 but lived true British values - and I’m so inspired by him! (9/9)

I never told him in life but I’m so proud of him and his service. He fought against hatred, intolerance, and bigotry- for peace, kindness and consideration. After the war he even taught his zoo and casino owner (and Lord Lucan’s friend) John Aspinall to fire the Bren gun. (8/9)

The taxi driver asked why we were going there, dad explained they’d been billeted there after liberating the area. The taxi driver pulled up and said she’d been the little girl who played football with them - we didn’t pay for that ride! (7/9)

When we went in he realised the Germans had been using it as a sniper’s nest, so his team had blown it up. Getting a taxi on that trip dad wanted to look at a farmhouse. (6/9)

We walked into a bar and as soon as the elder group of men realised dad had been there in the war, we didn’t pay for food or drink. We saw a church in a village - I think it was still Kirkdriel. Dad said he remembered it looking differently. (5/9)

When training he witnessed some thugs attacking a pub known to be frequented by gays - yes they existed in the 1940s! Dad, in his own words- said his platoon “made sure they didn’t do it again! In Holland in the 1980s with me, Dad visited Kirkdriel with me. (4/9)
