Whenever a gun massacre occurs in the US
Most Australians shake their heads and wonder why they don't act to protect themselves
Well Australia, when it comes to climate change
Many around the world are look at us right now
In exactly the same way
@SimonBanksHB
They did the foot-work for this in Madrid, refusing a joint statement at the end of the conference. Australia was together the world-leading forces until 2012-13, at the repeal of Carbon Tax its gone downhill somehow, wonder what happened??? 🙄
@knausc
It’s like Americans saying restricting guns wouldn’t help stop mass shootings because guns don’t pull their own trigger
No doubt arsonists did start SOME of the fires. But climate change increasing the fuel load (like availability of guns) enables them to have a greater impact!

Unfortunately without India, China, the USA & Russia - without a coordinated approach - like we did with CFC’s and the ozone layer in the 80s - there’s nothing we can do about it.
Ok Minister Kelly might acknowledge that it’s a factor instead of just blaming arsonists & fuel
@SimonBanksHB
There are many in Australia who are frustrated by this govt’s stubborn denials on
#ClimateChange
& their refusal to plan & take action to help and protect ALL Australians.
They took an oath, swore to work for us, and they are paid very well too, but they’re not doing their job!
