Seems like I’m getting a lot of vertical stringing with this PROOF 300 PRC. First three always come in well under an moa, shot the fourth, went low. Fifth and sixth round I was dialing a tenth up each shot to keep them in the group. Haven’t seen that with quality barrels before

The MDT XRS is a little butt heavy. Probably makes sense with a long heavy barrel but this proof is too light for that. Added a 1 1/8 by 0.5 inch bar of steel to it and a cantilever bipod mount. Think it turned out pretty ok and made it much nicer to shoot 300 PRC from.

Love it when I have 4 tapped holes in a project. 3 #12s and a m6 because my tap broke. Cheap taps are expensive.

Ergonomics aside, hitting center mass at 100 with a flux chassis is ridiculously easy. Even shooting at a steady but controlled pace at 15 yard I could easily keep it in about 10 moa. (Bullets right are from my 300 PRC).

Initial thoughts on the 365 flux chassis. Get the aluminum one. The plastic one’s ergonomics kinda suck if you have a safety. Grip is closer to bore on the aluminum one. Probably have to make a custom safety for this to be comfortable.
