1/4 #WSTC8 #CoMaSesh #YearofTerns The Chinese Crested Tern is one of the rarest seabirds in the world. It was rediscovered in 2000. Its population has increased from less than 50 known in the 2000s to about 150 as of 2022. The main reason of its decline was egg poaching.
