This weekend we officially open the gates to Sharewood Forest welcoming in the local and global community to behind the fellowship and stewardship of the land starting with observing and cataloging the trees on site with @SilviProtocol onchain as we get ready for #GG24
Today at @ethna_rocks we officially launched our donation portal. As we've grown as an organization and increased our capacity for impact we've made a down payment on a forest sanctuary and are asking the community to help us bootstrap "il boscho di sharewood".

We're also very excited to distributing $100k during @gitcoin Grants 24 to bioregional reforestation campaigns. Every payment transaction will include an IPFS CID on-chain. Every tree or sample plots has GPS + photos on IPFS. Every claim is independently verifiable. Real

Some projects dump full blobs on IPFS (lots of MB → one CID). We went further: 1. Process tiffs like drone orthomosaics with GDAL 2. Generate tiles (zoom 0-22) 3. Upload EACH tile individually to IPFS 4. Map coordinates → CIDs: {"18": {"x": {"y": "Qm..."}}} Result: Zoomable

OSISI TREE PLANTING FESTIVAL: 1/4🌳2 months ago, we made history in #Badagry—a coastal town in Lagos. Project OSISI organized a pilot tree-planting festival that impacted 4,000 students across 8 community schools in Badagry. We planted 100+ native trees leveraging @SilviProtocol
