This IMHO is also why US has pushed for tactical nukes both sub launched and gravity bombs US fighters are too vulnerable to Russian air defences but vs what are believe to be "lesser" opponents they may risk it

Back in the early 1980s, the scifi comic 2000AD (where "Judge Dredd" is from) wrote about an egotistical, out of touch US President starting World War Three... It became a long running part of the stories, actually a lot smarter than you might think & very prescient alas :(

One of the things that scares HELL out of me about AI is something few consider: AI = Data Data can be transmitted...across time and space and that is NOT being silly All it requires is the hardware to host it Over billions of years, how many races created & broadcast AI?
