🫖Today, the Government of Rwanda, through the @RwandAgriExport, with the support of @FAO's MAFAP programme, partnered to develop a new Tea Strategy. The strategy aims to boost tea production, consumption, quality, & exports, & is expected to be ready by the end of the year.

Similar strategies will be developed for all agri-export value chains to boost Rwanda’s export sector. Tea is among Rwanda’s top-performing export commodities, generating nearly $700 million over the past seven years (2017–2024).

Today, we joined fellow stakeholders at the Rwanda Tea Sector Strategy workshop, convened by NAEB. The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration across the value chain to ensure sustainable growth, global competitiveness, and long-term prosperity for Rwanda Tea.
