From the sidelines, Legends Z-A seems to be the most strictly divisive Pokémon game ever. Sw/Sh was controversial due to NatDex cut, sure, but it was more 70/30 "This is terrible" vs "It's not THAT bad" Now it's straight 50/50 "This is terrible" vs "This is the best game ever"

One of the more absurd old Mega designs is Slowbro. But it's intentionally a derpy, ridiculous Pokémon to begin with. The idea that the shell is steadily consuming it is a funny concept. Plus Shell Armor ability? 😂 There's also some semblance of effort into a changed design.

"It's funny! Not every Mega needs to be cool" Victreebel's an example of a GOOFY Mega that at least notably changes an already goofy Pokémon's design. Even if you prefer 'cool' Megas, it's passable Mega Starmie is not creatively goofy - it's lazy. Slightly longer legs. Really?

Brothers, it's literally a shooting star design with a trail behind it. You know, the super fast Base 115 Speed STARfish Pokemon? And in case you haven't noticed, it's legs are ALSO longer lmao
