In all, Kharag Singh's story has massively unexplored implications for Sikhi, But what's certain is that it shows the “revered” status of Hindu mythological figures in ACTUAL “Sanatan” Sikhi is not as simple as modern unread Sanatanists like Sahani will lead you to believe ;)

It's here where the Guru writes, ਸਭ ਦੇਵਨ ਅਰੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਦੂਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਜਬ ਕਹਯੋ The gods and Krishna said in defeat, ਹੱਟੋ ਜੁੱਧ ਤੇ ਭੂਪ ਹਮੋ ਮੁਖ ਤ੍ਰਿਨ ਗਹਯੋ “We put grass in our mouth, please stop the war!” Then, and only then, does Kharag Singh lay down his weapons.

The body of Kharag Singh refuses to quit. It picks up its head and throws it at Krishna, knocking him down from his chariot. It then continues to fight with the remaining forces, causing Krishna and others to flee. It ignores the apsaras requesting it to come with them to heaven.

Finally, Shiva counsels Krishna to summon Death itself and have him do the job. Krishna obliges, and “Mrit” appears as an arrow in Krishna's bow. Krishna fires the arrow when Kharag Singh is distracted by Brahma, at last cutting off the head of Kharag Singh, and yet...

Krishna and Kharag Singh begin an intense duel. Brahma tries to reason with him that he has already proven himself, but Kharag Singh is adamant that anyone short of Vishnu himself is not a worthy enemy.

As the Pandavs stage a counterattack, Krishna counsels Kharag Singh that he too will one day have to die. This attempt to stop the battle incenses him, and he swears to continue to defeat all the gods and their armies, and throw Krishna to the ground.

Kharag Singh and Arjuna begin to duel amidst the battle. Kharag Singh praises Arjuna and states he will spare him. Arjuna lands what should be a killshot yet Kharag Singh survives. He falls upon the Pandav armies and drives them to retreat.

Krishna again enters the fray. This time with him are the armies of the Five Pandavs and two regiments of “mlecchas.” The Muslim warriors cause Kharag Singh to fall for the first time in the narrative. But he destroys them, and withstands the Pandav armies despite heavy wounds.

But despite giving up these supposed cheat codes, Kharag Singh is no less effective in battle. The Yadav army, recovering their bravery, attack him again yet are no more successful. Gods such as Rudra attack him again and are again defeated.

Brahma and Krishna appear in front of Kharag Singh as Brahmins, and beg for the relics. He recognizes them, yet states that because they've lowered themselves to begging, he'll give them what they want. He reasons, “I can't live forever anyway.”

Despite this massive force, Kharag Singh withstands their attack. The gods began to murmur perhaps “Kal Kaal” had manifested, the harbinger of the end of the age. Brahma then concocted a plan with Krishna to break his power by retrieving a powerful crown and amulet Kharag owned.

Krishna becomes ashamed of having been defeated by a human king. Brahma then manifests, and tells Krishna how to defeat Kharag: summon Indra, 12 Suryas, 11 Rudras, Chandrama, and 8 Yamas and all attack him at the same time while distracting him with apsaras.

With Shiva down, Krishna decides to enter the battle again. Kharag Singh quickly dismounts Krishna from his chariot, and catches him by his hair as he falls. The twist—Kharag Singh doesn't want to stop the fun, so he lets Krishna go.

Kharag Singh makes fun of Shiva saying “O’ Yogi, what will your conch do? You go around begging for alms, I don't fear your archery. Fighting is for Kshatriyas, this is not the work of Yogis.” He then stabs Shiva, who falls.

Next up, Shiva and Ganesh appear. Shiva is taunted by Kharag Singh, who says he'll make Shiva's army dance like monkeys. Ganesh is killed, meanwhile Shiva is able to land an arrow into Kharag Singh but..it has no effect. Shiva sounds his galactic conch but Kharag is unimpressed.

Krishna then manifests a demon army. They are defeated. Krishna manifests Varuna, who is also defeated. Yama himself comes with staff in hand and is sent running from battle by Kharag Singh.

Kharag Singh then again defeats Balram and Krishna, and here's where things get really interesting: it's at this point that Krishna manifests Indra, Surya, Chandrama, and other gods for help. But, shocker—they too are defeated by Kharag Singh!

The Yadavs decide to attack with Krishna in front, but Kharag Singh wounds Krishna and the army loses their mind seeing the holy blood spill. Krishna rests and returns to a sly Kharag Singh making fun of him, telling Krishna he too will eventually have to go meet Yama.

The Guru then writes that Krishna turned to the demon "rakshas" in his army. Kharag Singh defeats them as well. The Yadav army begins running from battle while Kharag Singh pursues them. He even captures Balram but let's him go while laughing at him.
