Glad to attend the 2025 PowerTech Conference in Kiel, Germany to present our work. Choosing the right model is key to effective problem solving. We showed that line dynamics can be neglected when analyzing the voltage collapse point for a class of GFM and GFL inverters.

JHU ECE successfully hosted the 59th CISS conference featuring four terrific plenary talks by Gil Zussman (Columbia), Jessika Trancik (MIT), Elad Hazan (Princeton) and Daniel Kammen (UCB). It is a long-standing conference alternating between JHU and Princeton. See you next year!

Had a fun visit at NJIT to give a talk on Geometric Methods for Efficient Stability Analysis of Future Power Systems. The results are based on two recent papers from my group at Allerton 2024, PSCC 2024, and a work to appear at IREP 2025. See you in Sorrento, Italy this summer!🤩

It was great to attend the White House conference on AI Aspirations. There was an impressive lineup of speakers including ARPA-E Director Evelyn Wang, NSF Director Sethuraman Panchanathan, and Arati Prabhakar, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

Great memories from the Summer School on IBR-dominated Power Systems at Imperial College London. I gave two lectures on Hybrid Dynamics in IBR-Dominated Power Systems and Resilience Assessment of Power Systems. The latter will become an open-access graduate course through GPST.
