So why not lean into these aspects? Imagine Gameday and the Topper Walk is now preceded or followed by a student-led but school supported initiative to march down Avenue of Champions to Scotland the Brave.

We (WKU) are also incredibly proud. When you see someone wearing WKU gear or see it in a car, you know they’re part of this close-knit family. We refuse to be ruled or bulldozed over by others. We’re slightly unruly and unconventional. We march to our tune.

Western Kentucky, much like Eastern Kentucky, has a lot of Gaelic/Celtic influences. Our topography is less exaggerated, but we have a Glasgow, rolling highland-like hills, and clannish ancestry in the area.

It’s clear that @WKUSports, specifically @WKUFootball, needs some renewed fan energy. I don’t claim to be an expert but have an idea that I think would be cool if executed correctly. Here we go…🧵
