If City Council wants to reform a system that over-fines the working class, they should start w/regs that DON'T endanger lives if they're not followed.

Speed bumps are a cheaper solution, but alas, they don't "enhance revenue." This was never about safety.

This should not have been a difficult vote. People in your community are only being fined for endangering the lives of their neighbors, THE OTHER people in your community that you can protect. There's no racism or classism in saying "Don't speed. Don't risk your neighbors lives."
