I like to help people with their communication skills.
Joined October 2019
Heard you first in 1986. Played tapes so often music was ingrained in my brain. My lecturer quoted 'Great Leap Forwards' in 1991. My kids love it now. I sung 'New England' in a choir this year. '1649' is playing in an exhibition in my local market. Keep inspiring us Billy!.
Tomorrow sees the 40th anniversary of my debut album 'Life’s A Riot with Spy vs Spy’. I’ve dug out some clips to celebrate and I hope you’ll share you memories of when and how you first heard my music. The vinyl is back in stock and can be ordered here:

It has to be a branch with a pharmacy. I gave taken mine there for a few years. Its true - every bit helps!.
Look, I know it’s a little thing in the grand scheme, but — every @superdrug pharmacy now offers recycling points for medicine blister packs, which otherwise end up in landfill in their millions. Bag them up, take them in every month or two. Easy. Pls RT/spread the word.

Some colleagues at conference being prevented by managers from diagnosing DLD.
@larchiba6 we CANNOT hold back diagnosis of #DevLangDis because of lack of services. Unethical and (@lilacCourt highlights) against HCPC guidelines #naplic23.

So vital to listen to the experience and views of adults with DLD to inform services.
Views of adults with DLD ideal support for adults with DLD:.- free access to SLT support.- bigger more connected DLD community for adults.- easier to talk to others who understand .- more access to awareness and support in the workpace. #DevLangDis #naplic23.

So important to recognise how common DLD is in adults and how different it may appear in different situations. Employers, educators, friends and family can make all the difference. Adults with DLD have so much to offer!.
1 in 14 people have Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), a type of neurodiversity like autism, ADHD and dyslexia. DLD starts in childhood, but doesn’t go away. It's about 'Growing with DLD'. Support #DLDday this Fri the 14th Oct.
